ANY ADVICE. I JUST WANT TO BE SURROUNDED BY UNTOUCHED NATURE, MILES FROM THE NEAREST MAN, MAYBE BY AN ABANDONED LOG CABIN??? ANY STORIES FROM EXPERIENCE???

Hello, when i turn on my computer after being off for a while it makes this strange noise sounds like something to do with the fan as i have unplugged the HDDs and still get this noise so i know its not the HDD Also the noise sounds a lot worse when it is really cold as i have my computers in a log cabin can some one tell me what to do about this and also is it still ok the use the comp when it is making this noise if it goes away after about 10 mins. Thanks

Had a cabin built and green logs were used on one ceiling with bark still on them. I was told to let them dry for a while and the bark would fall off. They have molded and have black spots on them. I hand removed all the bark but don’t know what to do next.

When I’m just sitting quietly in a room with my guinea pig in his cage, he just randomly starts running around his log cabin house and slamming into the walls. After three laps around his house, he stops and he goes back inside and lays down. He does this every once and a while and it freaks my whole family out. Why is he doing this?
We already tried toys but he doesn’t seem to like them.
and if I got him a friend they would fight and one would end up dying.

I’m running windows xp (home edition) and for a while now i’ve noticed something weird happening when i log on. At the bottom of the screen next to the green start tab (where it shows what program(s) is running , sometimes it appears that yahoo is running twice , and sometimes i can click between the two and even it shows two diiferent news pictures on what seems to be two different homepages. THEN across the top of the yahoo toolbar at the top of the screen , it looks like one version is going to load but then another one takes it’s place – it actually shows a “yellow pages” button at first as a choice , but then that gets replaced with a new toolbar where the yellow pages button is gone and there’s something else in it’s place. Has anyone ever had this happen? what the heck is going on??!! and how do i fix this?
Also , i don’t think it’s anything in a “virus” category. I have a good AV program i’m pretty confident in , and nothing showed up on a virus scan.
