I can get to msn, and any other site – my msn email works but I still cannot log into my yahoo accounts. I can’t even get my home page to load – what is the problem?

I use a proxy server through a VPN connection when connecting to work. I have a direct connection to the internet for personal use. When I switch between work and home my messenger account will not login even after correctly setting my proxy information. I’d like to be able to have messenger running while working it does not accept my proxy. To verify that my proxy is set correctly, I created a new ID and was able to login without any trouble. But once I switched to a direct connection and tried to go back to the proxy, messenger gave me a message that I could not login. Has anyone else solved this issue in the past?

At work, my laptop Syncs to the Server. I used to be able to log off, then open my Outlook at home, without being connected to the Server, and have all my contacts, calendar, tasks etc etc. I got a new laptop and our new tech didn’t set it up the same as it was before. Can anyone tell me how to change the settings of my MS Outlook so it will be like it was before? Thanks for the help.

Will that allow me to set up a server on my home computer and then on that computer, create a website and then be able to log onto it using my ip address? So I could have my personal website at say ‘138.23.42.1′ Is that right? Can I do this under windows?
