What I mean is… the idea of chopping down a few trees and building a log cabin near a stream. And taming the wilderness. It’s all been done. There is no manly things to do anymore. I love the idea of a simple log cabin, 12 hours behind a plow, and a wife and ten kids, a hot stove, and respect in the community, and no commute. How can the normal man trained for a city job, on an average level, become a traditional farmer type? all the land is worth millions now. Its ruined. It’s all out of kilter. I wish I was born a long time ago. I’d be prepared to risk typhus just for even one year of the traditional life. Men are so emasculated these days. There’s nothing to conserve, let alone be conservative about. There’s no dignity in the rat race. None at all. People don’t even have time to stay fit. Everything gives you cancer these days. All the women have had so many sexual partners. I’m dying here. I hate this century. The internets the only good thing.

Do you like the idea of taming some land, building a homestead, and having a wife and nine or ten kids? A wife who doesn’t work?

I’m just throwing it out there. I know the average single income family ain’t gonna be able to afford a traditional lifestyle. I know this possibility is ruined. I’m talking in theory does it sound any good of a life to you guys?

You know there were homesteaders in the nineteenth century who were given land on which to build log cabins, and these days we have husband and wife toiling 80 hours sometimes, for decades, just to buy a keeping up with jones’ mansion home, and the kids raised in childcare and getting autism.

I think these guys back then lived the dream.

Hello, maybe someone can help.
I have had a paypal account for 6 years, maybe longer, and suddenly today, I am at the store, using my paypal card, and it won’t go through. ( I have a over 1,000 ebay rating)

I leave the groceries, and go home, and log on immediately to find, that my account is frozen, I can’t even get in and look at it, even see who paid me for what items.

I emailed paypal, but NOTHING has come back.
It’s a Holiday weekend, my funds are on that card. I live off that card, (rather than depositing my sales back into my bank account)

Anyone had this happen to them, and HOW can I get it fixed fast?

Thanks, by the way, there is no reason for them to freeze my account. No transfers that weren’t ebay related or anything.

My laptop can see my wireless network (and others around me actually) but it won’t connect to any of them. I’ve logged into my router and made sure there are no security features enbled. It seems to be a totally open network. Oh, and my laptop ties to my home wireless network without any problems. Any idea what I can try?

I would like to connect to my computer at work. I have downloaded all the programs that I should need (that coworkers are using to connect from home and it works for them), however, every time I try to log on, it tells me that networking problems are preventing my connection or that the computer is too busy to accept new connections. This is clearly on my end since everybody else can connect. Any idea?
