Its a book about a boy who is visiting his father in Alaska and he is hanging out wit this other boy (possibly a Native American) and they get lost going down a river. They see moose or elk and fish. They build a log cabin, get attacked by a bear, get lost in a snowstorm but get rescued by Eskimos. The Eskimo’s take the boys in until they take them back to their families. The cover has the two boys fighting their way through a snow storm. Thanks for the help!

My family and i just bought a getaway log cabin, with 65 acers and a 1 acer pond. We found some leeches, and im worried about my cousins and i getting leeches all over us. Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of the leeches without killing the fish. There are trout and bass. Ducks and deer also come to use the pond, so if there is anything that wont harm them that would be great thx for your help!!!!

We recently moved into a lovely log cabin with a pond. The bad thing, the pond is loaded with weeds, grass and algae. The weed which has taken over most of the pond is identified as parrots feather. I can smell a horrible smell especially after we have a very hot day coming from the pond. I am having serious allergies and asthma, especially after the scum releases the odor. At times, I feel this stuff is killing me. My family loves our new home but I am about to bail out for my health sake if I can’t get rid of the pond weeds. I went to our local university and their suggestion is a chemical which I know can’t be good for the environment. Also, just how bad can excessive pond weeds be for ones health? The pond is approx 2 acres and it is completely covered in this mess. We do have some fish (crappers) which are suppose to eat this stuff but it is not helping as the scum is out of control. I can really use some advice on this! Thanks very much!
