help with turning on windows xp computer.?
I have windows xp home ed. i’m the only one who uses the computer so when i turn it on, it just goes from the “windows xp” screen to my desktop. but yesterday, it now goes from the “windows xp” screen to the “welcome” screen where i have to click on my username to go to the desktop. i tried going to user accounts in control panel, but when i unclicked the welcome screen box, now it just gives me the “original” log on box, which i don’t want also, since I’m the only one who uses this computer! can anyone tell me how to set it up so it goes directly to the desktop without having this “click on your username” stuff?? Thanks!!

How do I make My Yahoo.com my home page? When I log on despite my previous settings my home page is sbcglobal.
I have selected My Yahoo as my home page by both internet options in the control panel and clicking on the “Make this your home page but when I go to log in I begin at sbcglobal.net instead of My Yahoo.com. What do I need to do to change my home page.
